How it works

One tap. A voice they love.

HOW ECHOWALL™ WORKS

Tap. Play. Feel.

EchoWall™ combines simple NFC tags (EchoKeys™), a playback device, and your EchoWall dashboard. With the tap behavior configured for each key, kids, teens, and adults can hear your words, feel your support, or silently ask for help.

The magic in 3 steps

Tap. Play. Feel.

A child taps, a message plays, and they feel seen. These cards wrap the same flow in our new dashboard style.

🪄

Tap

A child, teen, or loved one taps their EchoKey on the playback device. The tap quietly tells EchoWall who they are.

▶️

Play

EchoWall loads only new wall messages first. After a message is viewed or replied to, it clears from the wall so the next tap stays focused on what is new.

💜

Feel

They read your words and can send a quick reply in one tap. If no new messages are waiting, EchoWall shows supportive motivational quotes.

Tap Routing Guide

What happens after a tap?

Every EchoKey routes through the resolver first, then opens Wall or SafeTap based on your key settings.

1) Key mode decides the action

In key settings, each EchoKey is configured as Rituals, SafeTap, or Both. The resolver checks that setting on every scan.

2) Rituals mode

The tap opens the Echoes wall. The wall shows new messages first. Once viewed or replied to, those messages clear from wall playback. If nothing new is waiting, motivational quotes are shown.

3) Both mode timer

You set a wait window (for example, 5 seconds). The first tap starts that timer and waits for a second tap. If a second tap happens during the window, EchoWall opens Rituals. If no second tap arrives, SafeTap triggers when the timer ends.

4) SafeTap mode

The tap routes straight to SafeTap. If the key requires a SafeTap token and that token is missing, EchoWall falls back to the wall instead of leaving a dead-end screen.

Passive Safety

Safety checks that run in the background.

EchoWall can monitor inactivity windows, show proof-of-life freshness, capture temporary breadcrumb snapshots, and coordinate responders during active incidents.

🕒 Check-in windows

Owners can define check-in windows and inactivity thresholds per EchoKey. If activity is missing, EchoWall escalates from a nudge to an alert.

💓 Proof of life

The dashboard shows freshness, last-seen time, and source based on existing taps and inbox activity, without exposing private message content.

🧭 Breadcrumb mode

During opt-in sessions, trusted devices can capture temporary location snapshots that expire automatically.

🤝 Incident coordination

Eligible alert recipients can acknowledge incidents and claim “I’m handling this,” so the circle sees who is responding and avoids duplicate confusion.
